Ahead of Donald Trump’s Saturday visit to Georgia to support his endorsed candidate David Perdue (and further antagonize Brian Kemp), the Democratic Party of Georgia is releasing a new digital ad with an original theme song for Kemp’s campaign. The ad focuses on Kemp’s devastating split from the man who won him the 2018 GOP primary and on Trump’s increasingly vicious attacks against Kemp. It will reach conservative voters across the state, particularly in Commerce, where the Trump rally is being held, which also happens to be less than thirty minutes from Kemp’s hometown of Athens.
The ad’s original lyrics and country music score poke fun at the deterioration of Trump and Kemp’s relationship, and how the former president’s increasing involvement in the race is becoming a major impediment for Kemp’s re-election chances.

By coming to our state in support of his new Georgia peach David Perdue, Trump is further escalating the ugliness of this brutal primary and showing Kemp that he’s coming after him, anytime and anywhere,” stated Max Flugrath, spokesman for the Democratic Party of Georgia.
Trump’s involvement in the race is escalating as the primary battle intensifies. So far, Trump has:
LYRICS: “Weak” feat. Brian Kemp:
When we first met, you made me who I am.
You were my first love. You said I’d be your man.
But then you said that I was weak. Now I’m on a losing streak
But you don’t love me the way you used to do.
Your RINO Governor Brian Kemp who’s been a complete disaster.
