Georgia Democrats in Stronger Position Than Ever As 2022 Midterm Election Season Heats Up

February 3, 2022

Following a historic year for Georgia Democrats, the state party is entering 2022 in a stronger position than ever before. The Democratic Party of Georgia has a larger staff and more funds at this point in the election cycle than in any previous cycles, setting the stage for even more innovative and robust organizing, communications, digital, coalition-building, and voter protection efforts leading up to November 2022.

“Georgia Democrats’ have never been better prepared at the beginning of an election year than we are right now,” said Scott Hogan, Executive Director of the Democratic Party of Georgia. “With more resources, greater momentum, and stronger party infrastructure than at this point in any year past, Georgia Democrats are well-positioned to build on our historic successes, defend Democratic incumbents, and flip more seats up and down the ballot in the midterm elections. Our victories in 2020 and 2021 were just the beginning – we are ready to change Georgia for good in 2022.”
