First Presidential Debate Watch Parties

Here are several of the watch parties scheduled for the first Presidential debate between President Barack Obama and Republican nominee Mitt Romney on Wednesday, October 3rd.

The Georgia Working Families Legislative Caucus and the Georgia State AFL-CIO join together will host a nonpartisan Presidential Debate Watch Party. There will be complimentary pizza, wings and drinks. This event will be a nonpartisan event. The event will begin at 8:00pm with the debate scheduled to start at 9:00pm. The Obama for America South Georgia office is hosting a Debate Watch Party at 103 Wayne Avenue in Valdosta. The event will start at 8:30 pm.

The Richmond County Democratic Party is hosting a Debate Watch party at their headquarters at 1101 Greene St. in Augusta. Doors open at 7:00 PM with pizza, drinks and snacks.

Sen. Curt Thompson is hosting a Debate Watch Party at his home, 6320 Glenbrook Drive. Tucker, GA 30084. The event will start at 9 pm.

Rep. Roger Bruce is hosting a Debate Watch Party at Landon’s Restaurant, 3752 Cascade Rd. in Atlanta, 30339. The event will start at 7 pm.

The Paulding County Democrats are hosting a Debate Watch Party at Martino’s Italian Restaurant, 8877 Dallas Acworth Hwy., Dallas, GA 30132. The event starts at 8:30 pm.

The Young Democrats of UGA/ACC are hosting a Debate Watch Party at Transmetropolitan, 145 East Clayton Street, Athens, GA 30605. The event starts at 8:30.

Warner Robins Democrats are hosting a Debate Watch Party at First Baptist Church, 210 Garmon Street, Warner Robins 31088. The event starts at 8:30 pm.

Obama for America and LGBT Caucus Supporters are hosting a Debate Watch Party at Manuel’s Tavern, 602 N. Highland Avenue NE, Atlanta. There is no reserve seating so please arrive early.

Obama for America is hosting a Debate Watch Party at their state HQ, 171 Auburn Ave Atlanta, 30303.
