Georgians are Getting Vaccinated Thanks to Biden and Democrats’ American Rescue Plan

Today, Dr. Jill Biden, Senator Reverend Raphael Warnock, and Mayor Van Johnson will visit a vaccination site in Savannah and encourage Georgians of all ages to get vaccinated at Alfred Ely Beach High School. The trip to Georgia is the latest stop in the Biden-Harris administration’s nationwide push to reach millions of Americans who still need protection against the virus and urge communities to get vaccinated.

“Georgians are thrilled to welcome the First Lady back to the Peach State today as the Biden administration continues to lead the nation out of the COVID-19 pandemic and deliver real, meaningful results for Georgia and the American people,” said Scott Hogan, Executive Director of the Democratic Party of Georgia. “Thanks to President Biden’s vaccination push and Democrats’ American Rescue Plan – and no thanks to Brian Kemp or a single Georgia Republican – over 2 million Georgians have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. Today’s trip is a sign of the president’s commitment to implementing his successful vaccine program in every community across Georgia and the country.”
