Today, the Democratic Party of Georgia released a new video highlighting the escalating infighting between Brian Kemp and David Perdue as they attack each other daily in the GOP gubernatorial primary. The boxing-themed video illustrating their intensifying feud comes ahead of Donald Trump and Perdue’s appearances at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), which Kemp was not invited to.
From Kemp’s early attack ads against Perdue for enriching himself while outsourcing American jobs to China, to Perdue’s criticisms of Kemp for not standing with Trump on his 2020 election conspiracies, to lawsuits, ethics complaints, and Kemp’s rebuke of Trump, the infighting is all-consuming in the GOP gubernatorial primary and taking precedent over addressing the issues that actually impact Georgia families.
“Georgia’s GOP gubernatorial primary has devolved into a Republican boxing match pitting Kemp vs. Trump and Perdue — but Georgians are the real ones losing in this contest. While Kemp and Perdue trade blows, they aren’t offering Georgia voters any meaningful plans to increase access to affordable health care, protect voting rights, strengthen public education, or address other crucial issues impacting their lives,” stated Max Flugrath, spokesman for the Democratic Party of Georgia.
