As Georgians Observe Memorial Day and Honor Service Members, Walker’s Connection to For-Profit Program That Preyed on Veterans Continues to Come Under Fire

June 1, 2022

As Memorial Day passes, Walker’s connection to a private hospital chain’s for-profit program that preyed on veterans is coming under renewed scrutiny. Walker claims to have founded the program and to have personally treated thousands of soldiers, the latest in a series of exaggerations from his “dramatically inflated…record as a businessman” to “untrue” claims about his academic success.
