Ahead of Pence Visit in Columbus, Georgia Democrats Hold Perdue and Loeffler Accountable for Corruption

Buckner called out Perdue and Loeffler for lack of COVID relief and shady self-dealing in Washington

ATLANTA — Today, State Representative Debbie Buckner held a press conference in Columbus calling out Senators David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler ahead of Vice President Mike Pence’s visit and emphasizing the need to get out and vote on or before January 5th.

Buckner praised Senate candidates Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock while condemning both Perdue and Loeffler’s corrupt stock trading and ethical misconduct in office. And after over 200 days with no relief package, Buckner emphasized the importance of both runoffs in securing real aid for Georgians.

“We have fewer than 20 days left until the January 5th runoff election, and everything is at stake,” said Buckner. “The ability of every Georgian to have great health care, the fight against this pandemic, and the opportunity to deliver real economic relief to working families and small businesses are all on the January 5th ballot.”
