Vernon Thomas in runoff in Columbia County

For the first time in recent memory, a dedicated Democrat is in a runoff for County Commission in Columbia County. Vernon Thomas defeated three Republicans and will meet the lone remaining GOP candidate on April 12.

How did Mr. Thomas achieve this feat? With smart campaigning, precise voter targeting and a commitment from the Democratic Party of Georgia.

At our State Committee meeting on March 26, please seek out Mr. Thomas and give him a sincere congratulations.
