Democratic Party of Georgia Chair Releases Statement on Passing of Rep. Wyc Orr

Dublin, GA – Democratic Party of Georgia Chair DuBose Porter released the following statement on the passing of former Georgia State Representative Wyc Orr.

“Wyc was a brilliant mind in the state legislature and a fighter for justice in the courtroom and in the streets,” said Chairman Porter.  “We have commiserated and dreamed together about the condition and possibilities for our state. As his body weakened, his mind became even more determined to give thought and ideas for a better Georgia through better leadership. We will miss his wise counsel. Our prayers are with Lyn and their family”
