New TV Ad: Kemp Gambles with Georgians’ Lives

The Democratic Party of Georgia is releasing a new TV ad highlighting Brian Kemp’s reckless actions that gambled with Georgians’ lives in order to serve himself. The new ad focuses on Kemp’s decision to risk Georgians’ lives during the COVID-19 pandemic, against the advisement of doctors and nurses, and his choice to sign a dangerous, extreme gun bill into law that makes it easier for criminals to carry concealed handguns in our communities.

“From his reckless reopening which ignored warnings from doctors and nurses, to his embrace of an extreme gun law that makes it easier for criminals to carry concealed firearms in our communities, Brian Kemp has a dangerous record of gambling with Georgians’ lives just to score political points. Kemp doesn’t care about the lives he risks –– he only cares about his political career,” said Max Flugrath, spokesman for the Democratic Party of Georgia.

Reopening too soon, Brian Kemp gambled with our lives, ignoring the risk.

He rejected the doctors and nurses who warned against it, because he wanted to be first. It was a disaster. Cases spread. It didn’t have to be this bad.

Now, Kemp is risking our lives again, making it easier for criminals to carry concealed handguns — just to pander to the far right.
