Georgia Democrats on Tom Graves Not Seeking Re-Election

December 5, 2019

ATLANTA – Today, Democratic Party of Georgia Executive Director Scott Hogan released the following statement:

“Tom Graves is quitting Congress because he knows the same thing we do: Republicans’ time is running out. Our state, like our country, is more diverse, more progressive, and more Democratic than when Graves entered Congress in 2010. Graves and the rest of his Republican colleagues are afraid of American voters – which is why he’d rather quit than continue to serve in the minority.”
