Georgia Democrats On August Labor Report

After the U.S. Department of Labor released the latest jobs and unemployment numbers, DPG Executive Director Scott Hogan released the following statement:

“Donald Trump’s failure to control this pandemic has led to 186,000 lives lost, a crashing economy, and 13 million American jobs gone. More than half a million Georgians have lost their jobs and benefits, and are without health insurance in the middle of a pandemic. It didn’t have to be this bad, but at every step of the way, Donald Trump’s failed leadership has made this crisis harder to bear for working Georgians. In 60 days, Georgians will turn out in full force to vote for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, whose plan to build back better will rebuild our economy and help Americans get back to work safely.”
