Georgia Democrats Congratulate Senator Jon Ossoff and Senator Raphael Warnock

After today’s swearing-in of Senator Jon Ossoff and Senator Raphael Warnock, Congresswoman Nikema Williams, Chairwoman of the Democratic Party of Georgia, released the following statement:

“Congratulations to my friends and Senators Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock on their swearing-in, and for making history as Georgia’s first Jewish Senator and first Black Senator to represent our great state. With today’s swearing-in, our Senators are ready to deliver on health, jobs, and justice for all Georgians, and I know they will make us proud.

“The swearing-in of our two new Senators and solidification of the Senate’s Democratic majority could not come at a more crucial time for our nation.
