Final Week to Vote Early in Person and Mail in Your Absentee Ballots

October 26, 2021

What Deadlines and Information Georgia Voters Needs To Know

This week marks the final week for voters to vote early in person for the November municipal elections across Georgia. Any voter who has not yet voted can vote early in person at any location in their county through Friday, October 29.

For voters who have received and filled out their absentee ballot, they should return it immediately, as all ballots must be received by Election Day on Tuesday, November 2. If mailing their absentee ballot, voters should do so by Tuesday, October 26 at the latest to ensure it arrives on time. Voters can also drop off their ballot at a drop box until Friday, October 29 or bring it directly to their county registrar’s office by Election Day on Tuesday, November 2.

We encourage all Georgians to make a plan to vote early in the best way for them using the information below and on DPG’s website, and to call the Voter Protection Hotline at 1-888-730-5816 for any assistance.
