Democratic Party of Georgia Statement on Abortion Ban Legislation Testimony

ATLANTA – Today, following the committee hearing on House Bill 481, Democratic Party of Georgia Chairwoman Nikema Williams issued the following statement:

“I am incredibly moved by the women who spoke up at today’s committee meeting to share their stories and advocate for the rights of women across Georgia. As Democrats, we will never stop fighting for women’s rights- and will keep advocating to stop this ban.”
