Mary Campbell | HD 97

As a small business owner and mother of 2, Mary Blackmon Campbell has a keen insight into how state policies can affect families and professionals. She was born at Piedmont Hospital and was exposed to political activism from a young age through the work of her parents, including her father’s work as revenue commissioner for Jimmy Carter. As the Co-founder of Find Your Voice and an activist with Indivisible, Mary has always strived to teach the importance of civic engagement to others and help them learn how to become politically engaged. She is running to represent the people of HD 97 to help fulfill the potential she sees in Georgia through the expansion of Medicaid, the protection of victims of domestic violence, solutions to transportation issues, and advocating for small business growth and development.
