Julie Jordan | HD 179

Julie Jordan has lived on Saint Simons Island for the past 20 years as a school counselor and educator. Adopted at two weeks old to a mother who was a Cosmetologist and a father who was a union worker, Julie was the first to graduate college from her family. In 2012-2013 she served a 3 year term as President-Elect, President and Past President of the Georgia School Counselors Association where she grew as a leader and allowed her to be part of facilitating and planning leadership institutes and working with Georgia legislators to pass legislation. These experiences have driven her to run for representative in HD 179 to fight for quality, affordable healthcare, preserving coastal Georgia, equality and justice for all, and voter protection.
