James "Bubber" Epps

A lifetime in the 140th District, experience as a small business owner and county commission chair, and a real understanding of the concerns of middle Georgia - that's what James "Bubber" Epps, Jr. brings to his race against Republican Allen Freeman. 

Epps, a lifelong resident of Twiggs County, has served on the Twiggs County Board of Tax Assessors, the Twiggs County Industrial Authority Board, and was Twiggs County Commissioner for two terms, including one term as Chairman. He is currently the Twiggs County Representative for the Central Georgia Development Authority.

"Having owned a business and worked all my life in Middle Georgia, I am acutely aware of the concerns of the citizens of the 140th District and share these same concerns myself," Epps says.  "Together with others who truly want to make a change for the better, I am committed to working toward a better 140th and a better Georgia," he said.
